Job Title: CNC Programmer $32-40/HR Shift - 1st
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Set up/Operator for our 1st shift with over 7 years of experience in CNC machining. The ideal candidate will use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. The role involves working from blueprints to create, maintain, and troubleshoot machining programs for CNC machining centers.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers
Perform 4 and 5 axis programming of machining centers
Read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Create CNC Programs for CNC Machines using various CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks and GibbsCAM
Conduct tight tolerance and short runs, as well as some production runs
Ensure proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GibbsCAM
Carry out CMM and inspection tasks
Operate CNC machinery and tooling with precision measurement tools
Maintain a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Communicate effectively within the teamEssential Skills
Proven experience as a CNC operator
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GibbsCAM
Five years of experience in writing CNC Programs
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Good communication abilitiesAdditional Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of proven shop machining experience
5 years of programming experience
Experience with CMM and inspection

Work Environment
Work in a brand new, extremely clean, and well-lit facility. Our small machine shop houses roughly 20 machines and employs about 10 people.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
