Systems/Business Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems/Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving. Your expertise will drive the design, analysis, and implementation of systems that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements to identify and resolve system-related challenges.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system objectives and translate them into detailed design specifications.

• Act as a key liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to support project goals.

• Create and refine System Design Specifications to guide technical implementation.

• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for various business needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues to ensure seamless system performance.

• Provide ongoing support and recommendations for system improvements based on business feedback.

• Facilitate communication and understanding between technical and non-technical teams.

• Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.• Proven experience in business analysis and system design within a detail-oriented environment.

• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.

• Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and System Design Specifications.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data analysis and query development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between teams.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.

• Familiarity with interface troubleshooting and resolution techniques.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
