Manual Machinist

Pay Rate - $25/hr.

Job Description

Assembles, repairs, maintains, designs, and fabricates parts for assembly machinery. This role involves constructing, repairing, and performing general maintenance on assembly machinery, ensuring all parts function as required.

Responsibilities

Construction, repair, and general maintenance of assembly machinery.

Repair or replace defective parts.

Install special structural parts in assembly machinery.

Set up and operate manual mills, manual lathes, power saws, drills, grinders, sanders, welding equipment, some CNC machinery, etc.Essential Skills

1+ years of manual machinist experience.

Ability to operate mills, lathes, grinders, sanders, saws, presses, drills, welders, sand blasters, breaks, hoists, cranes, hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and volt/ohm meters.

Proficiency in using manual machining tools and equipment.

Skilled in interpreting and working with blueprints.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The role involves working with various machining tools and equipment, including manual mills, lathes, grinders, sanders, and welding equipment. The work environment is a manufacturing facility where safety is a priority. You will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear. The position may require lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, Missouri.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Grandview,MO.
