CNC Programmer

Job Description

This candidate will be setting up and operating machines to manufacture various parts for the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Haas, Doosan, and 5-axis Okuma machines.

Manufacture parts using materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and occasionally exotic materials.

Maintain tolerances of +- 1000.

Work with smaller parts, typically no bigger than the size of your hand.

Perform first article inspections and quality inspections.

Utilize precision measuring tools and blueprints.

Ensure the quality and precision of manufactured parts.Essential Skills

Experience in CNC machining and set up.

Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience with CNC mills and Our Client machining.

Knowledge of Haas, Doosan, and Okuma machines.

Experience in first article inspection.

Aerospace experience is preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with quality inspection.

Work Environment

Shift: 1st - Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm; 2nd - 4:00pm - 2:30am. Ensure comfort with working overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as required. This is a mid-sized aerospace company with a family-owned, small business vibe and many tenured employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a position based out of Valencia, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
