Prep Cook

Modern Southern Table in Columbus, OH, is looking for one prep cook to join our 10-person strong team. We are located at Budd Dairy Food Hall, 1086 N 4th St.. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Morning Shift - 5 am -2 pm Tuesday thru Sunday!

40 hours PTO

Very Competitive Pay and Potential for bonuses based on performance.

Tip Sharing with all Staff - This can lead to an additional $2 - 3 an hour per shift paid weekly in cash.

Responsibilities

Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes

Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking

Weigh and measure ingredients

Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables

Basic cooking functions such as making bread and preparing sauces and stews

Label stock and inventory all ingredients

Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

and much more.

Qualifications

Willing to listen and learn, follow directions, and follow recipes

Ability to communicate and listen to team members

Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal

Experience as a Prep Cook is a plus
