CNC Machine Operator DIRECT HIRE $18-$22/hr

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator responsible for operating 2-3 CNC machines, primarily Okuma, and possibly Mills. This role involves loading and unloading machines, positioning parts correctly, changing machine tooling, making process adjustments, and performing required inspections. The successful candidate will utilize inspection and measurement gauges such as micrometers and calipers to ensure part quality.

Responsibilities

Operate 2-3 CNC machines (Okuma) and possibly Mills.

Load and unload machines as needed.

Position parts correctly within the machine work holding.

Change machine tooling as needed (6-7 different pieces of tooling).

Make process adjustments to maintain productivity and part quality.

Perform required inspections and document inspection results.

Utilize inspection and measurement gauges (micrometers, calipers).Essential Skills

Experience with CNC machines, including tool changes, adjustments, tear downs, and setups.

Proficiency in reading measurement tools such as micrometers.

Strong work history in CNC operations, seeking to expand skillset.

Ability to perform tasks beyond basic loading and unloading of parts.

GED or high school diploma.Work Environment

Work in a small, modern facility with automated machines and a clean environment. The company operates on a 3-shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. Shift premiums are available ($1.30 for 2nd shift, $1.10 for 3rd shift). The available shifts are: 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:20 pm) and 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:20 am). The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr.
