Job Title: Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Production Supervisor, where you will oversee the production scheduling and ensure on-time delivery of products to our valued customers. This role involves hands-on production planning and facilitation of manufacturing activities and workflow. You will coordinate work through various production stages and collaborate with purchasing and inventory departments to ensure materials and supplies are readily available.

Responsibilities

Create a Master Schedule and regulate the flow of work within and between manufacturing departments.

Coordinate manpower and materials according to production and shipping schedules.

Establish priorities based on targeted customer delivery dates.

Coordinate initial staging of material/kits to the Assembly Department before starting the process.

Change the Master Schedule and reprioritize when issues arise due to manpower or material shortages.

Conduct manufacturing floor walks to ensure jobs are progressing on schedule.

Reduce non-value-added processes and streamline workflows to reduce lead-time and improve on-time delivery.

Spend 80-90% of the day on the production floor.

Communicate with the Sales Team regarding the schedule and status of jobs.

Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills

Experience in production control activities in a manufacturing environment (minimum 3 years).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Self-starter who takes initiative and performs tasks independently.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing facility that is family owned and operated, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The position operates on the 1st Shift (Monday-Friday) from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility in hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Croydon, Pennsylvania.
