Required Education\: Bachelor's degree.

Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months of administrative assistance, support and/or management experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty, and staff

Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives

Demonstrated attention to detail is critical

Composition and proofreading skills

Certifications:

Valid Driver's License

The Executive Assistant position is crucial in keeping the Institutional Equity Office operating smoothly by providing administrative support to the Institutional Equity Officer and Title IX Coordinator, assisting in budget administration, and handling purchasing activities and human resources responsibilities for the department.

Duties:

Writes and edits emails, drafts correspondence, and prepares communications on the executive's behalf. Responds to inquiries concerning standard information and policies and procedures.

Organizes meetings and events, including scheduling, preparation, sending reminders, and coordinating logistics as needed.

Manages the day-to-day operation of the office.

Serves as a liaison to internal and external staff, faculty, and administration.

Assists in budget administration.

Oversees record management including maintaining confidential records and information, electronic, and paper files).

Handles purchasing activities and human resources responsibilities for department.

Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and maintains appointment calendars.

Prepares travel requests and expenses.

Plans, coordinates and oversees special activities or projects.

Researches, collects, and analyzes data or information. Prepares written reports or presentations.

Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
