Role Overview As an Accounts Officer, you will be instrumental in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.

This position demands a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with a small team and report directly to the Head of Credit/Internal Auditor, ensuring that financial processes are efficient and compliant with regulations.

Position Details Employment Type: Full-time Location: Bugolobi, Kampala Work Arrangement: On-site Reporting Structure: Reports to Head Credit/Internal Auditor Key Responsibilities Process loan applications efficiently and accurately.

Compile and enter new account information into our systems.

Collect customer deposits and fees, issuing receipts as required.

Interview customers to gather necessary information for account openings.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer records.

Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields Required Certification: CPA No prior experience is required, making this position suitable for recent graduates Essential skills include customer service, administrative knowledge, and accounting principles Must be proficient in accounting software (especially QuickBooks), Microsoft Office Suite, and fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred certifications include ACCA or similar professional qualifications Experience in financial reporting or auditing is an added advantage.
