About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a client's executive leadership team. This individual will provide visionary financial leadership and business partnership across the organization, ensuring financial soundness, sustainable growth, and regulatory compliance. The CFO will lead financial operations, optimize performance across entities, and provide timely, data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a highly collaborative role, interacting with both operational and governance teams, and overseeing investments, compliance, and strategic initiatives. The CFO must bring a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and executive presence.

Key Responsibilities

:Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, board members, and leadership teams across the organization

.Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in accordance with GAAP and internal controls

.Develop and execute strategic financial plans and policies aligned with organizational objectives

.Provide leadership in capital planning, investments, debt service, risk management, and financial performance metrics

.Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, standards, and audit requirements (including federal or grant-funded programs where applicable)

.Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and operational data to support decision-making

.Oversee investment strategy and ensure alignment with policy guidelines and risk tolerance

.Develop and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering growth, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration

.Coordinate and lead annual audits, and proactively address findings and recommendations

.Identify funding opportunities and oversee compliance related to grants, programs, and contracts

.Drive process improvement, technology adoption, and financial systems optimization

.Represent the organization in interactions with financial institutions, investment advisors, auditors, and external partners

.Lead internal financial working groups and serve on cross-functional strategy and planning committees

Qualification

s:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required

).CPA certification (required

).Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred

).Minimum of 10 years of executive-level financial leadership experience, including oversight of accounting teams and budget plannin

g.Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit preparation; familiarity with Uniform Grant Guidance and single audit requirements is a plu

s.Demonstrated success in investment oversight and financial risk managemen

t.Strong experience with strategic planning, forecasting, and performance measuremen

t.Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing team
