Key Responsibilities:
Set up CNC machines and ensure readiness for production
Utilize G-code and M-code programming for CNC equipment
Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining strategies
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and machining sequences
Select appropriate tools, cutting paths, and machining parameters for various jobs
Create, verify, and modify CNC code using simulation and verification software
Generate comprehensive setup documentation and instructions for machine operators
Develop and manage tooling requirements and inventory
Maintain accurate records of manufacturing data, program revisions, and job documentation
Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to ensure accuracy and quality
Continuously evaluate and improve machining programs for efficiency and performance
Requirements:
Proven experience in CNC programming and machine setup
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code
Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting GD&T
