Summary:
This key IT role is responsible for functional analysis and configuration for Sales & Distribution integration in SAP. Support duties for Day-to-day SD Stakeholders in the areas of Sales, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management, Sales Support, Foreign Trade, and Transportation. Works with other SAP Functional Analysts, developers, IT management, and business personnel to understand, prioritize support, and development.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. Documents system requirements define scope and objectives and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Incumbents function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct prototypes, develop functional specifications, perform data and functional mapping, and configure transaction/control tables in the SAP system and other business systems.
Collaborate with the SAP ABAP team and Microsoft development team to ensure systems meet the requirements of the functional specifications.
Identify and resolve gaps in business processes and integrate new systems and processes with existing ones.
Participate in security and authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation.
Assist with the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data.
Handle multiple functional tasks that tend to be of medium technological complexity.
Participate as a team member on one or more projects.
Lead the estimation of new initiatives, define business cases, and determine the resources needed from both business and IT to deliver services.
Communicates and coordinates with team leaders, business & IT management, and executive team members.
Recognized as a credible representative for business functions and processes, leading efforts to drive change.
Influence business leadership and management in the decisions to improve and change business processes.
Proactively identify and resolve complex business challenges.
Lead small to medium sized projects and follow system development methodology.
Identify and recommend the most suitable solutions to meet business needs.
Serve as the primary IT liaison with software solution vendors.

Education Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems or related discipline and knowledge of SAP ECC.
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience required in analyzing and gathering requirements to create user system solutions.
3-5 years’ experience required in multiple SAP modules (MM, PP, FI, CO, SD, etc.).
Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint integration with SAP are considered a plus.
SAP implementation experience a plus
3-5 years of config/business experience

Deep understanding of the business processes and flows to analyze business requirements and develop solutions for the business functions.
In-depth Knowledge of the business strategy for a particular function/process area, contributing to business strategy development.

Effective written and oral communication skills, along with strong computer skills.
Light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary “workarounds.”
