Systems & Applications Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Systems & Applications Engineer to join our growing IT team in Philadelphia. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to provide engineering-level support for servers, applications, and desktop infrastructure in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Hybrid work model will begin after an initial ramp up period.

Responsibilities:

Provide advanced support and administration for Windows Server environments

Manage and configure Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP

Maintain and support virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V

Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 Suite (O365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Work with Entra for identity and access management

Configure, monitor, and support SAN storage environments

Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, and security

Participate in project planning, implementation, and documentation for systems-related initiatives

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a similar systems engineering role including one year working in a law firm or professional services business.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.

Strong expertise in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policies

Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization

Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite and associated services

Experience with Entra and identity management solutions

Proficiency in SAN technologies and storage administration

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
