The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of manufacturing lines, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, safety protocols, and production goals. This role requires strong technical expertise in equipment operation and maintenance, as well as leadership skills to guide on-shift personnel and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor shift operations to ensure adherence to SOPs and production schedules.
Lead and coach operators, providing direction on operational goals and procedures.
Troubleshoot and adjust machinery for optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Oversee setup and changeovers for various product runs, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Conduct routine quality checks and ensure products meet internal and regulatory standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA initiatives to resolve process or product issues.
Job Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/technical field.
1-3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (preferably pharmaceutical).
Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting and line supervision.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S practices preferred.
