Job Summary: The Accounting Manager oversees all finance, accounting, and reporting functions for Center Point Post, managing a small business’s budget and supervising a small team. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting. This role supports the Executive and senior leadership teams, ensures strong financial systems, and helps integrate finance with HR and IT operations. They will also guide staff on financial procedures and support the implementation of programs and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

Lead internal controls, audits, and cash flow forecasting.

Present timely financial reports and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Support the budgeting process and variance analysis.

Collaborate across departments to align financial systems with operational goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership skills and experience managing finance teams.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.

Technology savvy with advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners.

Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels, including finance and non-finance managers.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.

5–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally in media or post-production.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and audit procedures.

Thorough understanding of QuickBooks Online.
