Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: ~20 hrs/week Part-time Monthly stipend + school credit

Timeline: Now through Fall 2025 (January 2026), with the potential for additional summer hours

About the Role

Bernard James Fine Jewelry is looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and creatively minded intern to support our growing Social Media and PR efforts. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a brand built on legacy, craftsmanship, and community. You’ll work closely with our small but dedicated team to help tell stories that resonate, manage thoughtful PR relationships, and create content that reflects the care and intention behind each piece.

This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, creative initiative, and a commitment to consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Research cultural and platform trends to help shape social strategy

Manage the content calendar, schedule posts, and engage with our community across platforms

Help concept, capture, and edit weekly content (photo and video)

Support with monthly social media performance analysis

Assist with PR pulls, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and returns of fine jewelry

Track media coverage and compile clippings

Help coordinate influencer gifting and outreach

Support the planning and execution of events and brand activations

Assist our publicist with ongoing campaign execution and media research

Research and present partnership and collaboration opportunities that align with our brand values

You Might Be a Good Fit If You:

Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field

Have excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail

Are fluent in Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok—and interested in new and emerging platforms

Take initiative and enjoy working independently within a collaborative environment

Are excited to bring fresh ideas while honoring an existing brand identity

Understand the power of visual storytelling and aesthetic cohesion

Are naturally organized and care about getting the little things right (especially when handling valuable product)

Have an interest in fine jewelry or the luxury space (a plus, not a must)
