Business Systems Analyst – Smartsheet Solutions

Location: San Jose, CA

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000

Overview:

LHH Technology is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of Smartsheet solutions across multiple business units. This position plays a critical role in enhancing business processes through automation, improved data integrity, and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate will serve as the in-house expert on Smartsheet, working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly tools that support cross-departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy tailored Smartsheet solutions, including dashboards, workflows, forms, reports, and automation tools.

Act as an assistant administrator for Smartsheet, managing user access, system configurations, permissions, and data governance.

Partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Monitor tool performance, gather user feedback, and continuously enhance Smartsheet applications to meet evolving business needs.

Develop training content, SOPs, and deliver user onboarding and support sessions.

Ensure compliance with organizational data security standards and protocols.

Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Finance, HR, and other departments to support integration and data reporting needs.

Serve as the liaison with Smartsheet support and enterprise account representatives; troubleshoot and resolve Smartsheet-related issues.

Stay up to date on Smartsheet updates and advocate for innovative features and platform improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.

Minimum of 2 years of direct experience building Smartsheet-based solutions in a business environment.

Proficiency in Smartsheet advanced features, including Control Center, Dynamic View, WorkApps, and automation workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data sets.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced setting.

Experience with other business systems such as Sage CRE, SharePoint, or ERP tools is a plus.
