About the Role:

Job Title: Senior Android Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team, with a strong focus on building and enhancing mobile applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Contribute to discussions on full-stack transitions and backend architecture

Work with AWS services to integrate and support cloud-based functionality

Must-Have Skills:

5 to 10 years of professional Android development experience

Strong expertise in Kotlin

Proficient in Jetpack Compose and modern UI development practices

Experience with AWS and cloud-integrated mobile development

Comfortable working with HTML and contributing to front-end components

Understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location: McLean, IL (Hybrid)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $145K – $175K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
