Job Title: IT/Technical Support Representative (Customer Support/Account Rep - Sr)

Location: Columbus OH

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for users calling the IT Service Desk.

Provide excellent customer service by actively listening, understanding user issues, and responding with urgency.

Accurately document issues, problems, and resolutions in a call tracking system.

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using knowledge base tools and expertise.

Support enterprise software and hardware issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.

Provide guidance and support to end-users via phone, chat, or in person while maintaining a professional attitude.

Identify and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure minimal downtime.

Install, modify, and run diagnostic programs for computer hardware, peripherals, and software.

Maintain a high level of first-call resolution and identify opportunities to improve processes.

Work in a 24x7 environment, including weekends and after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

2-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced IT support or technical support role.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under high-pressure situations.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Understanding of enterprise software, hardware troubleshooting, and IT support best practices.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
