Controls Engineer

Summary: The primary role of the Controls Engineer is to estimate, design, and commission control systems. This position also involves responding to emergency situations when equipment fails and assisting clients on-site to restore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement equipment/systems ensuring compliance, quality, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.

Troubleshoot various industrial control platforms at customer sites.

Communicate effectively with customers to manage projects, gather feedback, resolve issues, and address concerns.

Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting control systems and performing engineering duties related to automation equipment on machinery.

Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.

Expertise in SCADA development with Ignition.

Experience with VFDs, electrical systems, and servos.
