Header Operator

Position Title: Header Operator 1st or 2nd Shift

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 7:00am 5:00pm or 4:00pm 2:00am

Header Operator Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate and repair Cold Heading machines

- Read and interpret prints and drawings to ensure accurate production

- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges to verify product quality

- Problem solve and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime

- Adjust machine settings as needed to meet production requirements

- Perform daily maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance

Requirements for Header Operator:

- Previous experience as a Cold Heading Machinist, operating a nail machine or rivet manufacturing machine a plus

- Proficiency in quality inspection processes

- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Proficient in the use of hand tools and programming machinery

- Ability to use precision measurement tools

- Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds

- Forklift experience is preferred but not mandatory
