Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer and remanufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.
Today, ECG has four facilities throughout PA. We are currently seeking a full-time Inventory and Receiving Coordinator position at Ellwood National Crankshaft in Irvine, PA. This non-exempt position will require flexibility in performing a variety of warehouse and tool cage duties to assist and support the manufacturing process and/or plant and equipment maintenance needs as they exist and change over time and may be required to work rotating shifts and/or 12-hour schedules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Familiar with general computer applications, including email
Excellent organizational skills
Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong math skills
Valid driver’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient at operating fork lifts, overhead cranes and other heavy equipment
Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
Experience with Inventory Systems
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Safe operation of fork lifts, overhead cranes, power pushers and other heavy equipment
Performing cycle counts on inventory
Performing basic inventory transactions in Syteline to include receiving parts against purchase orders, issueing parts to work orders and updating part locations
Tagging and properly identifying parts in the warehouse
Confirming items are tagged with an inventory number and confirming that the inventory numbers accurately represent those products (description, mfg., etc.)
Assisting maintenance, production and purchasing in identifying parts
Assisting other ECG staff in finding and, at times, delivering parts to other facilities
All other job duties as assigned
Handling of UPS small parcel (outbound) transactions
