Global Communications Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE

Fluke Corporation is seeking a Global Communications Manager to drive a cohesive global internal communications strategy that unites teams under a shared purpose. This role will shape the employee experience by fostering engagement, transparency, and alignment with Fluke’s goals for growth and culture.
Based in Seattle at our Fluke Park headquarters and reporting to the Director of Global Communications within Marketing, you will inspire employees, promote alignment on strategic initiatives, and reinforce our mission and values. Working closely with senior executives, particularly in HR and marketing, you will ensure message consistency across teams, regions, and channels, serving as the voice of the organization to our internal audience.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an office, matrixed environment and have a background in communications, with expertise in crisis communications, managing events, and simplifying complex messaging across diverse teams and regions. As the Global Communications Manager, you will define communication standards, support a positive work environment, be detail-oriented, and promote transparency, engagement, and a sense of belonging across the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute an internal communications strategy that focuses on educating, informing and promoting a positive employee experience that unites employees across geographies and roles, connecting them to the overall mission and strategic objectives.
Support communication initiatives including crafting messaging, managing distribution, and measuring impact.
Serve as a strategic partner to the VP of HR, IT, Executive Assistants and regional leadership to ensure alignment on communications surrounding key business milestones, policy updates, and organizational changes.
Maintain a pulse on employee sentiment, facilitating feedback mechanisms to drive improvements in communication strategies.
Manage the creation and execution of internal campaigns & video and photography needs ensuring they are effective, inclusive, and promote Fluke’s core values and strategic goals.
Champion efforts to foster a culture of open communication, ensuring employees understand how their work contributes to company goals.
Helping to orchestrate messaging for internal events ranging from small onsite events to larger leadership events, being a key part of the project team for this.
Oversee communication channels, including email, intranet, digital signage, and event platforms, ensuring a streamlined and impactful experience for employees. Craft and manage narratives around company news, product launches, awards, and customer stories.
Craft and deliver engaging, consistent, and inspiring messaging from executive leadership, adapting tone and content as needed for various regions and audiences.
Drive and manage the production of town halls, leadership Q&A sessions, digital signage, and company-wide briefings to ensure transparency, consistency, and alignment.
Maintain a content calendar and keep an ongoing pulse on employee sentiment to proactively address concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate internal messaging, and ensure it resonates with external brand narratives, creating coherence across touchpoints.
Lead and manage employee feedback initiatives, partnering with the HR team to act on feedback and enhance communication efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
Proven expertise in developing and executing communications strategies for a global organization, with the ability to adapt to different regions and cultural sensitivities.
Superior writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strategic yet detail-oriented approach.
Proficiency in digital communications tools, including email platforms, intranet management, and event tools.
Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with demonstrated success in working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and executive leadership.
Strategic thinker with the ability to understand and communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
Knowledge of internal communications best practices and the ability to stay ahead of trends in employee engagement.

Location and Travel
This position is based full-time in our Seattle office, with minimal travel requirements.
