Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and responsive Power Generation Dispatcher to manage and coordinate field service operations. This role is responsible for scheduling service technicians, prioritizing emergency calls, and ensuring efficient response to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch generator technicians for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, emergency repairs, and installations

Monitor job progress and technician availability to optimize daily workflow

Serve as the communication hub between customers, service techs, and management

Prioritize service requests based on urgency, technician skillset, and customer needs

Track service calls in real-time and update schedules as needed

Maintain detailed service records and update work orders in the dispatch software

Communicate with customers regarding arrival times, service status, and follow-ups

Coordinate parts availability with the parts department to ensure timely job completion

Support after-hours emergency call rotation (if applicable)Qualifications

2+ years of dispatching or service coordination experience, preferably in industrial equipment or power generation

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment

Proficient with scheduling/dispatch software and Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple technicians and service requests simultaneouslyPreferred

Experience dispatching generator technicians or similar skilled trades

Familiarity with generator systems, field service operations, and basic mechanical/electrical terminology

Knowledge of service management platforms such as ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, or similarCompensation & Benefits
