Job Description

*One position available- 12hr. night shift- 4pm to 4am.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities-

Be a critical member of a team of ten Data Center/Facility Maintenance Technicians in a 24/7/365 operating environment.

Responsible for day-to-day operations of facility, while adhering to and enforcing company, facility, and on-site security policies and procedures.

Escort and monitor the work of third-party contractors and sub-contractors to ensure they remain in compliance with the site standards while performing maintenance or relevant activities.

Prioritize work requests based on priority levels.

Perform administrative tasks such as creating reports, writing proposals, and billing administration.

Prepares and maintains records of all maintenance activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Data Center- Primary Duties and Responsibilities-

Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues.

Reviews, interprets, and works with various maps, drawings, blueprints, and testing documents.

Performs daily tests, checks, and maintenance of and testing equipment.

Comply with all company and security policies and procedures, when working in the Data Center environments.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Facility Maintenance- Primary Duties and Responsibilities-

Provide shift coverage and on-call operational support for all facilities systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire, life, and safety.

Perform preventative maintenance, equipment rounds, and service requests as directed and in accordance with the company CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Perform emergency or preventative maintenance repairs during off hours as directed on nights and weekends as needed.

Become proficient with building automation systems to ensure equipment is operating properly.

Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Support vendors on preventive maintenance and repair activities.

Assist site with emergency situations (fire alarms, power outages, environmental spills).

Comply with all company and security policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications-

Three years of building operations and data center experience is preferred.

Trade school degree or certificate in mechanical, electrical, or controls disciplines a plus.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Proficient writing & communication skills.

Ability to safely use hand tools, and power tools.

Ability to use Windows based computers.

Ability to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural drawings.

Physical Work Abilities and Requirements-

Walking frequently, throughout large facilities.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.

Using ladders and man lifts, working from heights.Company Description
