TITLE: Sr. Automation Engineer

COMPENSATION RANGE: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 DOQ

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree

POSITION SUMMARY: This role will focus on developing PLC/HMI systems, integrating legacy equipment, and providing technical support for system upgrades and modernizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop PLC programs using ladder logic, function block diagrams, and flow charts

Design and implement HMI applications for web converting equipment

Design, review, and troubleshoot PLC network architecture

Configure and integrate AC/DC drive systems (including legacy hardware)

Perform in-house testing and validation of software/systems

Provide technical support during system start-up and commissioning (on-site and remote)

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and service teams

Support ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and EHS&S initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

7–10 years of experience in Controls or Automation Engineering

Proficient in Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC platforms

Hands-on experience with AC/DC drives, AutoCAD, and supervisory control systems

Strong knowledge of industrial control networks

Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and industrial programming tools:

Ladder Logic

Control Block Diagramming

HMI Configuration
