Fire and Security Alarm Field Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Fire and Security Alarm Field Technician to join our dynamic and growing team! In this unique role, you will travel to various locations and job sites, installing or repairing various residential and commercial fire and security systems. This may also include locks of all types, access control, CCTV, and more. The ideal candidate has a low-voltage electrical license, experience with commercial and residential fire and security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities:

Travel to various locations in Maine and New Hampshire and independently service, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex fire and security alarm systems. Identify risks to customers and provide effective solutions

As a part of a small team, install new fire and security systems, electronic locks, access control systems, CCTVs, and more

Attend weekly team meetings

Maintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicle and supplies as needed

Maintain thorough and accurate logs of work completed at all times

Communicate and coordinate with co-workers, customers, builders, and office staff to achieve daily workload goals

Qualifications:

Current low-voltage electrical license with industry experience

Knowledge of NFPA72, NEC, and Industry standards for fire alarm installation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and listening skills

Outstanding attention to detail

Excellent work ethic
