Title: Showroom Administrator
Department: Sales
Role: Part-Time
Summary:
The Showroom Administrator is responsible for the organization, maintenance, and functionality of the COR Showroom. This part-time role will assist with all client and guest needs, handle maintenance needs, order supplies, and ensure a smooth-running office for employees.
Responsibilities and Duties:
First contact for all visitors to the COR showroom; creating a positive customer experience for all guests.
Greet and welcome guests, connecting them with their host or directing them to their assigned meeting space
Help visitors gain entry to the showroom through the Butterfly security system
Manage inbound calls and direct them appropriately
Prepare showroom and meeting rooms for receiving guests
Event scheduling and coordination including ordering, setting up, and breaking down catering for presentations and meetings
Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing UPS, FedEx, courier, faxes
Manage any maintenance and facility needs and/or requests
Knowledge of every product on the floor and where each item belongs
Point of contact regarding any inbound or outbound furniture, and where inbound furniture is placed
Develop/maintain a database of showroom furniture – managing inbound/outbound items
Coordinate and designate appropriate locations for temporary furniture deliveries (chair fairs, etc.)
Point of contact for inbound employees/visitors as to where they can touch down
A keen eye for detail of items not meeting showroom standards (i.e. cleanliness, damage, etc.)
Maintain written showroom guidelines and update as needed
Management of the facility including coordination with service providers
Enforce workstation/office cleanliness and maintain cleanliness/organization of common areas
Order supplies (office, kitchen, vendors) and manage inventory
Other duties as assigned, duties are subject to change due to personal growth, organizations development, and/or technological/industry advancements

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
4-year college degree preferred
1-3 years of work experience – industry experience extremely helpful
Positive outlook; welcoming and approachable personality
Proven track record of strong work ethic, client interface, dedication to clients and company
Demonstrate professionalism in manner, attire, and communication
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Ability to remain calm and patient while showing respect and flexibility with sales, operations, and clients
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of people within and outside of COR:
Must be able to read, write, interpret, and communicate fluently in English
Writing skills must be sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation with the ability to pay close attention to detail and proofread work carefully
Strong Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn and use new computer programs/applications
Good organizational, time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills:
Ability to work accurately to meet deadlines by adapting to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities in a flexible way by working from your own initiative and/or following directions, policies, or procedures
Use analytical and decision-making skills to offer options and resolve problems in a variety of contexts
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team ensuring the efficiency of projects from start to finish
Physical Demands:
A combination of sedentary and active work that shifts throughout the day
Ability to lift boxes up to 30 pounds and move furniture displays as needed
Moving about furniture showroom to ensure the tidiness of displays
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Work Environment:
Work performed in a fast-paced office environment daily with visits to various sites including warehouse, construction sites, client sites, and offices
