This position will provide support to customers who contact the Administrative Office via e-mail and telephonically as well as ad hoc requests from the General Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years working experience in telephone/computer-based customer service
Very comfortable and efficient working on both a desktop and laptop computer
Proficient with select components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the Internet as well as Point of Sale software program operational experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills especially during December through June and October through November when phone and email volume spikes upward.

Responsibilities:
Acts as the first point of contact for all telephone calls received via the general telephone line into the Administrative Office. Handles the callers' requests or gets them to the appropriate Gibbs Gardens employee.
Responds to and closes telephone sales transactions, receives payments and applies credits/refunds revenue for Memberships and Admission Tickets.
Gains a thorough understanding, through necessary training, and utilizes all capabilities of the Agile POS system which is this position's #1 tool used on a daily basis.
Books groups coming to visit Gibbs Gardens.
Monitors Gardens' two-way radio system for normal and emergency radio traffic. Responds to situations as the Gardens' liaison between Gardens' personnel and the county's E-911 system.
Schedules outside vendor maintenance appointments as requested by the General Manager.
Maintains inventory levels for selected necessary Gardens supplies.
Completes special projects at the request of the General Manager.
Processes donation requests at the direction of the General Manager.
Monitors three Outlook mailboxes for incoming messages and responds accordingly to customers and internal customers based on philosophies and rules established by the General Manager.
Manages telephone auto attendant greetings for select company telephone lines.
