Adecco is partnering with a local client in Grantsburg WI to hire a Manager of Manufacturing for this Direct Hire opportunity!
Shift-1st shift Monday-Friday
Pay $32-$40/hr
Direct hire!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all setups on the shop floor. This could include the following tasks:
Setup jobs through the entire process on new and/or difficult parts (through inspection buy off)
Monitoring setups by Level III – Level V machinists to assure good machining practices are being followed through the setup process.
Evaluate Tooling/Fixturing/NC programs as needed to assure the process will produce compliant parts.
Work with Quality Inspection as required to address any issues that may occur during the setup process.
Work alongside Manufacturing Engineering to address and correct manufacturing problems as needed
Monitor machine tools for maintenance requirements and for obsolesce/general wear and tear that may cause the machine to not produce good parts and to report to Director of Manufacturing/Shop Floor Supervisor
Performs limited personnel functions; Participates in hiring process, Coaches employees for improved performance, identifies/ develops/ trains high potential employees
Qualifications:
A degree in Manufacturing Technology or related field and/or equivalent experience is required. Typically minimum experience: 7+ years
Set-up and milling experience required.
Familiarity with sampling plans and techniques.
Knowledge of Mastercam programming preferred
Demonstrates proficiency with MS office software
Possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of major aerospace and/or DOD manufacturing preferred
Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
Knowledge of Quality assurance practices and procedures, including both ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Systems
Knowledge of Government contracting requirements

Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
