Position: Janitorial Sanitation Associate

Location: Columbus, OH

Type: Full-Time 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, business-dependent)

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday

Pay: $18.00/hour

What You’ll Do

As a Janitorial Sanitation Associate, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. This is more than a cleaning position—it's about upholding the standards that allow our team to thrive and our products to exceed expectations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring daily sanitation and cleanliness throughout the facility, including production floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas

Keeping meticulous records for HAACP, GMP, SOP, and pest control programs

Performing regular inspections to uphold food safety and sanitation standards

Safely handling and storing cleaning chemicals and equipment

Assisting with general maintenance and facility upkeep

Responding promptly to sanitation or maintenance issues

Collaborating with teammates and leadership to enhance operational cleanliness and efficiency

What You Bring

Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Familiarity with sanitation standards, HAACP, GMP, and food safety protocols is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for all

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance work, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Must be able to read English.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Work Environment
