Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Job Helper. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a large aerospace company. We are willing to train the right candidate in niche skills for long-term employment.
Responsibilities
Review and assimilate work instructions specific to paint type, dimensional tolerance, and thickness considerations.
Load, adjust, and perform light maintenance on conventional HVLP coating equipment in remote pressure, siphon, and gravity-fed variants.
Review and assimilate work instructions related to cleaning, masking, and abrasive blasting operations.
Perform receiving inspections (before processing) as needed and immediately report any damage or discrepancy.
Gather supplies such as racks, tooling, baskets, and carts.
Oil and/or package parts for protection.
Clean production parts, including degreasing or manual solvent cleaning.
Conduct routine blast cabinet/machine maintenance.
Work closely with area leadership to complete work and prioritize tasks.
Understand and maintain best safety practices in accordance with prescribed directives.
Be exposed to chemicals/solvents, occasional fumes, and moderate noise levels.
Perform heavy lifting as required.Essential Skills
Excellent hand/eye coordination, practical skills, and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding and use of English in both written and verbal formats.
Basic practical computer skills and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent vision, whether or not corrected, including normal color vision.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with good cooperative skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with paint, attention to detail, and accountability.
Knowledge of HVLP, hand and power tools, mechanical skills, paint prep, sanding.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Work Environment
This is a large production facility that smells like chemicals and paint. The facility operates 24/7 and may require shift changes with a one-week notice. The work environment includes exposure to chemicals/solvents, occasional fumes, and moderate noise levels. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday from 10pm-6:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
