Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with over 4 years of welding experience (or equivalent with schooling) to specialize in Aerospace welding.

1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday, overtime as needed

Essential Skills

4+ years of welding experience (or equivalent schooling).

Proficiency in TIG welding with an aesthetic focus.

Experience in sheet metal welding and fabrication (Aluminum/Stainless Steel).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficient in using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring equipment. Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to undergo CWI training and further certification in D17.1 (Aerospace).

Experience with welding in all positions is a plus.

AWS certifications D1.1 and D17.1 (company will pay for candidate to achieve D17.1 and CWI)Responsibilities

Perform primarily TIG and sometimes MIG welding in accordance with supplied instructions.

Use fixtures or table setups as necessary to produce correct shapes and dimensions.

Work to tight tolerances with a focus on aesthetics.

Assist in other areas of the shop including grinding, straightening, and metal finishing.

Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring gauges to check physical dimensions, tolerances, and visual conditions of parts.

Read blueprint designs for precision sheet metal drawings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
