Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a military and defense facility in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves performing mechanical and electrical assemblies in a fast-paced environment. The initial shift is from 7am-3:30pm, which will transition to a 10-hour shift (6am-4:30pm) from Monday to Friday. The pay rate is competitive and based on experience.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting.
Utilize common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, and specialized test equipment.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
Rapidly change roles and responsibilities in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
Effectively communicate with engineering and production teams.
Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.Essential Skills
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting (preferably aerospace, electronics, or medical industry).
Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools.
Proficient computer use including standard browser and word processing applications.
Working knowledge of common electrical components.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with mechanically assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components.
Hand soldering and component fabrication.
Performing validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
Experience with common air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, and nut plates.
Electronic box assembly troubleshooting and writing detailed issue tickets for failures.
Running functional checkouts and tests, diagnosing issues discovered during these processes.
Testing and running RF systems.
PCBA and troubleshooting.Why Work Here?
