Maintenance Technician - Weekly Pay

Job Description

Gojob is hiring a Maintenance and repair workers for a logistics company located in Louisville, KY. As a Gojobber, you will enjoy weekly pay, excellent communication from recruiters, the opportunity to build a career, health insurance and more!

Must have at least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Shifts:

1st shift – 6AM to 2:30PM

2nd shift – 2PM to 10:30PM

OVERTIME SHOULD BE EXPECTED

Responsibilities:

Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.

Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.

Installs equipment and appliances.

Follows local and state building codes and company safety regulations

Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning facilities and equipment.

Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.

Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.

Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.

Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.

Qualifications:

At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Able to meet physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Communicates effectively, speaking multiple languages is preferred.

Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance managers, and contractors.

A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
