Job Title: Laser Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in laser setup and operation, as well as proficiency in blueprint reading and quality inspection equipment usage.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate laser equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Use quality inspection equipment to ensure product standards.
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on laser equipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members in the fabrication department, including welders, brake press operators, punch press operators, turret operators, and other laser operators.Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of laser setup and operation experience.
Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience using quality inspection equipment.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with micrometers and press brakes.

Work Environment
The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 5am to 1:30pm. The facility is not temperature controlled and can get hot during the summer. You will report directly to the Welding Lead and indirectly to the Fabrication Manager. The work environment is collaborative, involving various roles within the fabrication department.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.50/hr.
