Job Title: Paint Line Laborer

2nd shift, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Job Description

Join our team as a Paint Prep Laborer where you will be an essential part of our paint line operations. You will be responsible for preparing metal parts for paint and powder coat applications, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect metal parts for any previous damage.

Verify that parts and paperwork are complete before proceeding.

Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.

Collaborate with team members to ensure proper preparation of parts.

Maintain equipment and organize the work area efficiently.

Operate batch ovens following work order specifications.

Inspect parts after coating is complete to ensure quality.

Unmask, unplug, and package components as necessary.

Complete all required paperwork accurately.Essential Skills

1-2 years of manufacturing experience, particularly in racking or general labor.

Proficiency in painting, powder coating, industrial painting, and the use of spray guns and paint booths.

Stable work history and a good resume.

Positive attitude and ability to fit into the company culture.Additional Skills & Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
