Job Title: Warehouse Associate
2nd shift Order Selector- Monday -Friday 3:30PM - 12AM or 4:30PM to 1AM (train on 1st for 4 to 6 weeks)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate for our 2nd shift. This role involves various warehouse functions including order selection, loading and unloading trucks, inventory control, and packing orders. Candidates will be cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions and must be comfortable with manual tasks. This is not a Forklift Operator role.
Responsibilities
Pull orders using an order picker.
Load and unload trucks.
Perform inventory control.
Pack orders for small parcel shipments.
Complete all necessary paperwork.
Follow inspection processes to ensure product quality.
Record parcel deliveries and deliver them to the appropriate department.
Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed.
Supply raw materials to departments as needed.
Maintain general housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operations.
Maintain the physical condition of all equipment.
Assist other operators in a team environment.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Work overtime as needed, including weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with material handling equipment.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, pivot/twist, climb, kneel, and balance.
Ability to lift at least 70 lbs. frequently and push/pull at least 82 lbs. of force
Work Environment
The facility is a typical warehouse environment that is not climate controlled, with racking up to 30 feet in the air, eight packing stations, four processing stations, and multiple loading docks. The team size varies by shift, with 20 people on the 1st shift and 5-10 people on the 2nd shift. The dress code requires a professional warehouse appearance, including steel-toed/composite shoes, pants, shirts, or non-offensive T-shirts. No cell phones or air pods are allowed on the floor, but speakers at a reasonable volume are permitted. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute paid lunch break.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
