Manufacturing System Integration Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading the strategy, standardization, and expansion of a regional manufacturing data reporting system. The successful candidate will act as the system expert, ensuring consistent, reliable, and controlled processes across all manufacturing facilities in the region to enhance operational effectiveness and support plant-specific characteristics.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and drive regional strategies and performance targets to standardize and optimize the platform across multiple manufacturing sites.

Lead a variety of projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams (including plant personnel, IT, and engineering), focusing on system improvements and future capability assessments.

Coordinate with plant teams and IT to ensure consistent creation, documentation, and maintenance of system standards.

Manage testing, verification, and documentation processes for system changes; validate requirements during user acceptance testing and ensure corrective actions are implemented prior to deployment.

Oversee and facilitate standard training programs related to system usage and functionality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

6+ years of experience in process or systems engineering within manufacturing environments, preferably in high-volume production sectors.

8+ years of relevant experience if education differs.

Strong background in systems technology, process optimization, business analysis, project leadership, and change management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an understanding of lean principles or similar production philosophies.

Workstyle & Environment:

Hybrid role; on-site presence preferred at a key regional location.

Approximately 90% office-based with 10% time spent on the production floor for direct observation and troubleshooting.

Occasional travel to other manufacturing facilities or for special projects.Company Description
