Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Engineer at our mechanical subcontracting company based in Phoenix, AZ. As an Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in directing the successful completion of projects within the company. You will work closely with the project manager and operations team to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical construction projects. Responsibilities
Update new projects in Procore/Project Folders and setup the following:
Required submittals
Procurement log
Latest plans and specifications
Initial RFI’s, as required
Maintain Procore/Project Folders for all active projects and update as needed
Track submittal status and take appropriate actions when required
Track RFI’s and take appropriate actions when required
Track material delivery and vendor procurement logs
Maintain current set of project plans including ASI, SKD, and other supplemental information
Assist in maintaining project folders on the server
Generate material submittals, as required
Assist in reviewing submittals and compare with plans for trade coordination and accuracy
Coordinate with vendors for submittal and O&M documents
Coordinate with vendors for all procurement dates and ship logs, update regularly
Assist in generating change orders on all active projects
Attend job coordination meetings, as required
Assist in overall project scheduling, trade coordination, crew coordination, and other time sensitive tasks
Assist in project specific commissioning requirements
Assist in generating project O&M’s and assist in other close out requirements
Assist in preconstruction tasks such as:
Estimating takeoffs
Vendor/quote coordination
Attending pre-bid walks or meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in project management or construction coordination, 5+ years in similar role.
Understanding of mechanical construction processes and subcontracting operations is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Company Description
