Job Description

BioTechnique is a sterile injectable full service CDMO providing cytotoxic and therapeutic sterile injectable fill-finish services. From IND applications through commercial scale production, we provide formulation and compounding, fill-finish, and lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables. Your Role

Our internships offer a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional work, setting a strong foundation for your career in the pharmaceutical industry. As a QC Intern at Biotechnique, you will work alongside experienced industry professionals, receive on-going mentorship, and gain hands-on experience across a range of quality principals and methodologies. You'll work in a dynamic and innovative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

Support test planning and quality control test execution.

Support sampling and analysis. Perform and document sampling per SOPs.

Perform and document analytical methods, tests, and assay per SOPs.

Prepare sample and test solutions per SOPs and USP/EP/JP etc.

Learn the safety, compliance, and proper methods in cleaning laboratory glassware.

Verify the inventory and expiry of reagents and standards, procuring items and consumables as needed

Learn and perform visual inspection.

Assist in environmental monitoring requirements.

Maintain data integrity. Learn internal databases and support entry of data and technical data review; assist with analytical reporting.

Identify and report any out of specification test results.

Perform periodic cleaning of testing facilities.

Help maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.

Assist in the preparation and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.

Gown and wear required personal protective equipment as needed.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program within science-related disciplines. Chemistry background preferred.

Must be local to York, PA.

Must be able to continue an on-going internship duration following semester breaks, (i.e. part-time or a minimum of 10hrs/week throughout the academic semesters).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Enthusiasm for learning and growth.
