Desired Skills/Experience/Profile:

A Desire to leverage your PLC-Systems (SCADA, DCS, HMI, Process control or similar) Knowledge and Experience within a Managerial Role (where you will be the point person for ideas, recommendations, suggestions [based on your research, knowledge and experience for building and customizing PLC based systems).

Experience Directly Managing and Supervising a small or medium sized team of Electrical Engineers who design and build PLC based Electronic Control Systems; should have experience with most of the following: hiring, firing, mentoring, training, PTO requests/approvals, performance reviews, R&D/Design-Build Team work flow (including hours-estimation for build projects, technology/Hardware/Parts needs-ordering-timing), Project Managing overall Systems Research-Design-Builds, Related Metrics Reporting, Use of an ERP system for parts-Hardware needs management and related areas.

Experience working in a similar role where you have been the System-Build team's Point-Person and Main-Communicator to other teams including: Sales and Sales Support; Manufacturing (PCB and wiring teams), Accounting, Upper Level Management, External Clients, Software Development, Stock-Inventory, Field Service, Customer Service.

Experience designing and building or heavily customizing PLC Based Systems (SCADA, DCS, HMI, Process control or similar): should have experience with

Ladder Logic and PLC Programming

Connectivity of PLC based system to a network (wireless, ethernet, cloud or other) including some knowledge of Related Networking (profi-bus, mod-bus, ethernet, wireless, 232/385 or similar industrial networking areas)

Data Acquisition within PLC based systems and using or designing systems that extract data (and store or report on data) coming off of the the system (experience with SQL Server or another SQL based Database is preferred).

Electrical Schematics (Blue-Prints, One Line Diagrams or similar)...should have familiarity with AutoCAD.

Related Embedded and Applications Software Knowledge or Experience

Functional Area of PLC Based Systems including S.O.P. usage and safety protocols and documentation (ISO experience is a plus), lists of parts that are in the system (or that will be used to build the system.

A College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Math, Electro-Mechanical Engineering and/or formal training-study on PLC Based Electronic Control Systems; Must have a solid background in Electronics Fundamentals.
