Commercial Contracts Attorney (Principal Level)

Location: Seattle, WA Spokane, WA Portland, OR Washington, D.C. New York, NY

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $200,000 - $325,000 (commensurate with experience)

Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to join a leading law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with a strong background in commercial contracts and a portable book of business to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative legal team.Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial contracts, including Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, and more.

Advise business clients across multiple industries on contract law, risk management, and compliance.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while providing high-quality legal counsel.

Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s offices to support client needs.

Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional service.Qualifications

7+ years of experience in commercial contracts law, with a focus on consumer goods and/or consumer products industries.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice law.

Portable book of business required.

Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.

Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compensation and Benefits
