Outside Sales Representative – Industrial Fluid Systems

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to manage an existing book of business and drive new growth across a defined territory. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a consultative, technical sales environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships through face-to-face engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while actively developing new business opportunities.
Build strong, consultative relationships with clients through regular in-person meetings and technical expertise.
Identify and pursue substantial growth opportunities within assigned industries.
Deliver persuasive presentations and technical product demonstrations to customers.
Serve as a technical advisor to customers, providing solutions tailored to their operational needs.
Travel locally to customer sites; work independently from a home office.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM and internal systems.
Qualifications:
5–10 years of experience in outside sales, preferably selling industrial products or systems.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Consultative selling approach with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Chemical Engineering (ChemE), or Industrial Engineering (IE) preferred; other degrees will be considered.
Experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is a plus.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings, as required by customer site visits.
