Assembly Production Associate, $15.00/hr. - Greenville/Piedmont –
1st Shift Mon-Fri/Sat 7AM – 3:30 PM OT Pay SAT
The Assembly Production Associate Operates equipment necessary for producing production parts while meeting all safety and quality standards.
This is a Temp-to-Permanent position!
Essential Functions of the Position:
Load and unload individual automotive stampings from production lines/cells.
Must use manual and robotics systems to apply welds, adhesive, and other process related task to piece parts and assemblies.
Inspect and properly load parts into containers for storage and shipment.
Tag, label, and track piece parts and assemblies and produce required documentation.
Utilize Quality concepts including SPC to inspect, grade and document part condition.
Must assist in equipment change outs and adjustments in all production areas.
Follow work instructions to ensure QS9000 standards are being met.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must have good housekeeping practices.
Follows all plant safety rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED
Manufacturing Environment Experience Preferred (Min. 6 months)
Machine Operation Experience
Must be able to complete everyday tasks with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with metrics.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Manufacturing Environment: 100% Standing, walking, and lifting
Physically fit and able to lift 25 - 35 pounds
Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day
Automated equipment and mechanical robotics,
Works near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and loud noises
