Concorde Battery Corporation is currently looking for a driven candidate to start a career working in the Quality Department as a Component Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer/Quality Control Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and validating CMM inspection protocols, importing relevant CAD models, training personnel on use of CMM and performing regular CMM inspections. The Quality CMM Programmer/Quality Control Inspector is part of the QA team and is also responsible for general quality inspections and other quality related tasks. The CMM Programmer/Quality Control Inspector reports to the Director of Quality.

Position Responsibilities:

Generates and maintains inspection plans on CMM software.

Review existing inspection plans and integrate into CMM.

Review procedures for correct process verification.

Generates inspection reports according to AS9100 requirements.

Serves as trainer for other personnel on use of CMM and related software.

Identifies areas for improvement in inspection processes and coordinates implementation.

Perform inspection of materials, processes and final product, per business need (manual instruments/CMM).

Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training/practices.

Qualifications:

2+ years QA inspection experience using standard inspection tools including calipers, gages, etc.

Understanding of QA requirements, processes, practices and systems.

1+ year experience programming and using CMM.

Demonstrated ability to work in team-based environments.

Ability to read engineering drawings to determine and measure features and tolerances.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

AS9100 Aerospace QMS experience is a plus.

Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus.
