Quality Control Technician

This position is responsible for sampling, testing, and inspecting construction materials or elements in both a laboratory and field setting to ensure compliance with specifications and Duit Holdings, Inc.

rnResponsibilities:rnrnPerform quality control testing as required by State and local agencies and follow Duit Holdings, Inc.

procedures to ensure the highest quality material is produced.rnProvide test data to the paving superintendent and plant operator.rnUphold all aspects of the quality control program to comply with agency specifications.rnMaintain accurate and up-to-date database and record logs.rnSupport and assist internal customers (sales, construction, estimating, operations, and senior management) and external customers by reviewing and providing detailed information and insight on material specifications and test results as requested.rnWork harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.rnFollow directions and instructions from supervisors.rnPerform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require.rnWork within defined standards of accuracy.rnWork in various weather conditions, including temperatures over 85 and below 40 degrees.rnWork safely, complying with all OSHA and MSHA regulations and Duit Holdings, Inc.

environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.rnPerform all other duties as assigned.rnrnRequired Skills or Abilities:rnrnValid Driver's LicensernClean MVRrnAbility to travel and work overtime, as requested.rnGood communication skillsrnBasic math skillsrnMust be able to read and understand technical manuals and perform tests as required.rnAbility to pass security clearance for restricted areas.rnrnEducation and Experience:rnrnHigh School Diploma/GEDrnOn-the-job training offered.rnMust attain Oklahoma Highway Construction Materials Technician Certification within six months.rnrnPreferred Qualifications:rnrnCurrent certification from the Oklahoma Highway Construction Materials Technician Certification Board.rnKnowledge of types of construction materials (aggregates/concrete)rnrnPhysical Requirements:rnrnAbility to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.rnAbility to stand and walk for long periods.rnAbility to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.rnMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.rnMust be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.)rnrnThis is a safety-sensitive position.rnIt is the policy of this company to assure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disability.
