Material Handler
Location: New Hudson, MI
Contract: 12 months with possible extension/direct hire
Schedule: M-F (7am or 8am start time)
Compensation: $20-21/hour with optional benefits
Overview:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for all logistics within the company. The role involves managing all inbound and outbound shipments in coordination with purchasing, project teams, and management.
Essential Functions & Skills:
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Load and unload small packages
Forklift operation
Shipment documentation and creation
Package shipments
Deburr and handle small metal parts
Education/Certification/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
Desired Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand most of the day
Work 40-hour work weeks on day shifts, with overtime paid as worked
Expected Hours of Work:
Day Shift starting at 7:00 AM from Monday to Friday
Flexibility to accommodate fixed deadlines, sometimes requiring work on Saturdays or Sundays

Compliance Requirements:
This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information. Employees in this role must meet requirements, including US Citizenship, US Permanent Residency, or the ability to meet licensure requirements.

Shift Times:
Flexible shift times between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
