Install and service Building Automation and Control Systems
Perform end-to-end system checks, startup, and commissioning
Troubleshoot and repair DDC, HVAC, and lighting control systems
Read and interpret control drawings, electrical and mechanical plans
Work with low-voltage wiring, sensors, actuators, and control panels
Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on site
Provide preventive maintenance and customer training
Maintain accurate records of work, time, materials, and costs
Travel locally as needed, including occasional overtime or weekends
Background Profile
5–10 years of experience in building automation, controls, or related fields
Knowledge of BAS/BMS/DDC/HVAC systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Familiarity with Ethernet, RS485, BACnet, and LON networks
Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
Able to work independently and communicate clearly with customers
Valid driver’s license and ability to get security clearance (no criminal record or DUI)
Experience with platforms like Siemens Talon, Smart 2, AX, N4, or PPCL is a plus
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., Tridium AX, N4) are a plus
Education
High school diploma plus a 4-year vocational program or equivalent work experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Professional certifications are a bonus
