We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This position requires a hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help scale our growing organization. Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes.

• Oversee compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing various returns, such as sales tax and property tax, and coordinating with external tax firms for federal and state filings.

• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support leadership decision-making and track key performance metrics.

• Lead the creation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation plans to align with business objectives.

• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient working capital is available to meet operational needs, and maintain strong banking relationships.

• Administer payroll and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws and maintaining accurate employee records.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement financial systems and processes that support organizational growth and efficiency.

• Assist with financial modeling, investor reporting, and due diligence for fundraising and strategic planning efforts.

• Build and refine HR policies and onboarding processes to foster a positive company culture and streamline operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP Business One, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, particularly in the beverage industry, is a plus.
